In 2019, with strong support from Andrew Chapel UMC and our Troop 1128 family, we welcomed female Scouts to Scouts BSA. Troop 1128G — the Amazons as they have named themselves — continues the tradition of Scout-led, Scout-run leadership and service development with the outdoors as our laboratory.

Our Troop 1128G Scouts attend the same outings, participate in the Patrol Leaders’ Council, achieve the same merit badges and rank advancements and, most importantly, have the same fun. We encourage all female Scouts-to-be to visit, meet our Amazons and join us in the adventure.
