2022 Popcorn Order Form

Update on Fri, Sep 30

The popcorn storefront sales for this weekend 10/1 and 10/2 are cancelled due to the rain.

Update on Tue, Sep 27

Big thank you to parents and scouts who help with the popcorn Tablesales Sept 24/25 weekends and sell online.

Currently, our troop has sold $10,972 worth of popcorn and peanuts. Our goal is for each scout to sell a minimum of $250.

Our last storefront sale is this coming week October 1/2 and we really need scout and parent help to sell the rest of the products we currently have in stock. We still have many shifts without scouts.

Friendly reminder when scouts sign up for tablesales, one parent is expected to stay for the entire shift. Scouts can not be alone without a parent or adult during tablesales. See Popcorn Table Sale Directions.

Pre-order Form is due to Mrs.Sugianto by October 10.

Update on Tue, Sept 20

Thank you scouts and parents who help our popcorn fundraising! We have sold about $6000 worth of popcorn and our troop will receive $1860 and council $1740 in commission.

Our next storefront is 9/24 and 9/25, please sign up using your scout Trails End account, we no longer will do Sign Up Genius, however if you have issues, please contact Ms. Sugianto. Instruction here.

Important: The Paper Popcorn Order Form is due to Ms. Sugianto by Oct 10 if you are not using the Trails End app.

Troop Incentives: One patrol gets a pizza party if the following condition is met by October 15, midnight.

(We now have 8 patrols, 6 from Troop 1128 and 2 Troop 1128G)

  1. Every active scout sold minimum $250
  2. Highest number of sales

INITIAL POST:

Our Annual Popcorn Fundraising Drive has begun again and we need draw your attention to the following:

WHY are Popcorn sales so important to our troop?

Popcorn sales are key for our scouts to be able to benefit from our troop’s programs, contributing to funding things like:

  • Camping Trips, Hikes, Goshen
  • High Adventure Trips
  • Troop camping gears and equipment

Without our scouts’ popcorn sales, all those activities would require much higher financial contributions – in some cases, families would not be able to afford activities.

We need everybody’s help!

Now onto the “HOW” we will accomplish it this season.

Each patrol will set a “Popcorn Goal” that will be tracked against the other Patrols. We will once again display the tracking charts for the popcorn sale to encourage each scout to participate.

Each scout’s goal is to sell a minimum of $250 of popcorn and $350 if they plan to participate in a High Adventure Trip. There are many ways to sell popcorn:

  1. The traditional “Take Order” (aka door-to-door)
  2. “Show and Sell” (aka table sales; Storefront Sales)
  3. On-line selling opportunities – see below for more information
  4. ”Show and Deliver” (product to doorstep) events where individual and teams of scouts will “check out product” and deliver it as they comb the neighborhood (aka Wagon Sales)

Every scout must have an account at the Trails-End website. Please do NOT create a new account, use Forgot Username and/or Forgot Password links. Email the Popcorn Coordinator (her info would be in the OneCall email you or your parents received) if you still have issues logging in.
